What Does the Best Internet Business Do Differently?
Sep 27th, 2009 by admin

Ever wonder what makes the best internet business the best in the online world? Is it simply a great product that every consumer must have?  Is it great after sales services or a good marketing campaign? Running a successful business online is a combination of enhancing core and non-core business functions by leveraging them with technology.

When you run a business from home or are a first-time entrepreneur, it is essential for you to know how the online market functions. This is mainly because you do not want to end up spending more money online to set up your business and be out-of-pocket either end of the year because you did not generate enough revenue.

Therefore it becomes very important for first time entrepreneurs and home businesses to learn the ropes before they start off. You do not have excess cash lying around to conduct a trial and error and learn from your mistakes.

How to Get Started With the Best Internet Business

However, most people wonder how to get started. Simply use the services provided by experienced professionals and drastically reduce your learning curve while you steadily build your business online. These services are offered to support you by taking care of marketing strategies and sales functions.

When you have experienced professionals who have worked online, you will be assured of targeted traffic moving towards your website. From generating sales leads after profiling the consumers, to giving them information and selling them different products and services which are top line these experienced professionals leverage the use of their time online and their expertise with technology to get you the desired results.

You cannot have a mass-market approach when you function online. Your information and response time should be accurate and timely in order to secure a deal. This is essential because consumers have a myriad of options that they can choose from online. Furthermore since the use of technology eliminates one-on-one relationships, it becomes even more essential to harness this potential properly and prevent your consumers from straying away.

Using your Entrepreneurial Skills Wisely

When you have the best internet business, you don’t have to sit home and keep wondering about how you can target the consumers. Simply utilize a knowledge based platform which is geared towards supporting you. From accessing call centers and having trained professional setting and helping you close the deal, you can actually benefit by saving a lot of time. This will allow you to focus on business development and product acquisition while also managing your finances in time.

Home businesses and entrepreneurs can benefit by leveraging the services they offer with outsourcing non-core business functions like sales and marketing. This will give you free time to concentrate on retaining the consumers that you acquired with outsourcing the services. Furthermore, it becomes extremely cost effective and you will be relieved of the stress of counting the dollars spent on marketing and sales versus the revenue netted against the expense.

What is a Blog and Why Have One?
Sep 26th, 2009 by admin

Blog is a brief form of the name “web log”.  Blogs used to be just online journals where school kids and teenagers used to write about the every day minutiae of their existence and love life.  Why would you want to read all that you may ask but if you’re thirteen years old and someone who goes to your school has a blog, there’s all sorts of juicy chat to be learned.

All you actually need to begin a simple blog is a PC, access to the internet and the typing skils as well as a topic to write about.

Today, it’s not just the kids who want to write blogs, as apart from communicating with your pals (or indeed enemies), there are numerous different purposes for blogs and here are just a few.

Niche blogs are normally used by a person or people who have a particular interest such as a type of cookery or a sport.  As a result, the posts are very specific to that interest and pull in an audience who want to read about that particular subject.  Niche blogs can be monetised by AdSense or other pertinent affiliate links because of the targeted audience which will visit.

Regrettably, some devious people just cover their niche blogs with keywords, in an effort to get ranking in the search engines.  This in all likelihood won’t work because the search engine spiders are too clever to fall for it but visitors who do get to the site won’t find it interesting and will in all probability click on an advert to leave the site.  In this way, the spam blogger will still earn some cash from their visitors.

Business blogs are also becoming popular.  They enable businesses to update their customers and potential customers in an friendly way and without the need for costly mail shots as well as releasing promotional material in support of their online marketing efforts.

Politicians are using blogs to keep in touch with their constituents/voters.  These blogs often announce what the politician is doing on a certain day, their opinion on up to the minute topics as well as remarks on policies of their own political party.

Educational blogs are becoming more prevalent as instructors find out how handy they can be for communicating to students in a modern, technological way.  These blogs can be used to announce school or college events, lecture schedules and even homework.

Blogging in order to express one’s views on something is happening more and more.  Sometimes these blogs can be useful, but they often deteriorate into a personal rant about the subject of the day and there is a danger that such blogs will be used by fanatics and those on the fringe of normality.

Well that’s about it.  You can use a blog just to chat with friends about your life, to promote your online niche or offline business, to communicate with your students or to talk about contemporary and fascinating subjects.   Whatever reason you blog for, be sure to post interesting and useful posts which will be popular with both the search engines and your visiting public.

If you’re wondering whether a blog or a website would be better for your purposes, read this article.

Website Vs. Blog – Pros and Cons Unveiled
Sep 24th, 2009 by admin

If you want to start your own site to sell products you’re probably wondering whether to create a website or a blog.  Do you know the differences between or the pros and cons of a website vs. a blog?  Read on to find out.

A website is a group of pages containing text, images, videos or any other media, which is accessed from the same domain name.  A blog, on the other hand is a frequently updated journal, not necessarily on an individual theme, by and large not needing any computer or programing expertise.

So website vs. blog – what’s for and what’s against?

Ease of navigation – A website would normally contain an index or menu, repeated on every page, listing all the available pages.  A blog, however, is usually navigated from one page to another or from links within posts to other related posts.  Ordinarily a blog will have a sidebar in which recent posts are listed as well as an archive where you can see the posts for any given month.  A blog will also have categories, which distinguish the types or substance of posts.

My opinion: A website, if it has been well-constructed, is easier to navigate.

Ease of updating.  Appending a page to a website would ordinarily call for some knowledge of HTML (hypertext markup language) and the need for some sort of webcoding software.  Blogs commonly have a content management system which nearly does everything for you, apart from actually typing the posts.  The software will organise everything for you and will automatically update your archive, etc.

My opinion: A blog is easier to update if you have no knowledge of HTML or how to build a website.

User-friendliness.  Making a blog engaging and easy to use is fairly simple because there are a lot of templates readily available, plus plugins and widgets.  In general they have an easy to use comment facility.  However, because of that facility, blogs can be full of foolish or immaterial content, rather than useful and informative items.  A website can generally only be added to by its owner, so the browsing experience isn’t interrupted by rubbish.

My opinion: A website offers an improved browsing experience for someone seriously searching for information but a blog would be for those just after a bit of fun or wanting to communicate with friends.

To sum up, blogs are fun and simple to amend, but may not offer the facilities you need to upload the content you want.  However, a website may suit you if you want to put up some serious one-time information which will not require updating on a regular basis.

For the best of all worlds, use both.  You can put up your main content on a website and link it to your blog, where you can easily publish updates and keep in touch with your readers.

Don’t Blame Your Online Internet Home Based Business Opportunity on Someone Else!
Sep 23rd, 2009 by admin

Hello everyone. Landon Stewart here.

For the love of god.

Do you know what I want more than anything else.

People to stop blaming their online internet home based business opportunity failure on other people. If a person fails, it is his fault, and ONLY his fault.

There is no reason that a person should fail in network marketing. None whatsoever.

If a person fails, it is not because of the products, the compensation plan, or the founders.

A product doesn’t matter if you can’t market it and no body knows your even selling it.

A compensation plan will not hurt you or help you if no one is in it.

Founders can’t decide your fate if they don’t even know your name.

I don’t know how many times I see people forget this fact.

A person loses every dime that he puts into this business and the first thing he does is start dropping bombs.

He blaims every person he knows, and their kid brothers.

He takes no responsibility for his actions, and frankly it makes me sick. It is time for people to start stepping up to the plate in network marketing.

It is time for people to realize that if they are going to succeed, they are going to have to put in the time and effort.

Now this is just a short excerpt from my blog, JoinLandonStewart.com

Do You Blame Your Online Internet Home Based Business Opportunity on Someone Else!

If you do, shame on you.

Way too many people do not take responsibilty for their actions especially in network marketing. People are always looking for an excuse. They try to blame everything bad that happens to them on somebody else, when in reality the only person that they hav to blame is theirself.

People don’t understand the fact that if they want to succeed in network marketing, they are going to have to put everything on their shoulders.

Dan Kennedy once said “you will continue to be unsuccessful as long as you rely on others to make you successful”. This could not be more true in network marketing or any other part of life for that matter.

If you want to be successful in network marketing you need to take your focus off product, comp plans, and founders and start putting the focus on YOU.

Do you want to have those things be the best possible?

Yes, but they are not going to shape your succcess in this industry.

Only you have the power to do that.

But that’s a good thing.

Better your success rely on yourself than on your enemies.

Now this is only a short excerpt from a post on my blog at JoinLandonStewart.com. To read the whole post click on this link:
